I needed a transfer on death deed for my property drafted and recorded, which Realty Law did in a timely and cost effective manner.  The fact they were in Austin and we were in Collin County (Dallas area) was irrelevant to the whole process. It was truly seamless; great communication, very fair pricing for something that an individual cannot do without legal assistance. Big relief to have this taken care of as TX routinely does TIC deeds. Colin provided great explanations and was very timely from start to finish. Literally, all done and recorded in about a week. I reached out regarding a commercial lease agreement review for my new business. This being my first time leasing a commercial space, Colin actually took the time to educate me on the topic. He even went so far as to outright say that because of my current goals and leasing criteria, I should not spend money on a lawyer. That is some honesty and transparency I can appreciate. I ended that phone call with more knowledge, and with some more confidence to navigate looking for my first retail space. Mr. Colin Newberry has provided outstanding legal services to me over a real estate buyout transaction that required a settlement with an estate. There were numerous issues along the way involving other external organizations, but Mr. Newberry handled all of them with quick legal resolution. He never hesitated on following up with others to move the tasks along. He is highly efficient in that he will respond to your e-mails or calls within the day. He will take the time to discuss and explain all legal matters. There were instances in which I needed additional clarification on the difficult issues. He ensured I understood the law and legal steps involved. There was not one moment in time where I or the external organizations waited on him for a response or legal action (that quality is rare). My line of work affords me the opportunity to work with other attorneys, so my comparison of his work was obvious. I can say Mr. Newberry stands out with his technical legal knowledge but incredibly so with his ability to be there so expediently for his clients. His is superb in managing his legal services and his communication and clearly makes those actions a priority. I reached out to Colin about forming  LLCs with several rental properties my husband and I own.  I knew next to nothing about creating an LLC. We purchased a property off market, from friends, without the assistance of a realtor. We have limited experience of buying a property and Colin held our hand the whole way. He was a fountain of knowledge, responded within minutes to emails and answered our calls straight away. He was professional and supportive throughout and always acted on our behalf in the buying process. We live near Dallas, and the fact that Colin is based near Austin made no difference to us.
